Radiologic Department Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Department Coordinator to join our team at SUNY Upstate Medical University. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily workflow and scheduling activities for the Night Shift. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to provide guidance and direction to personnel within the work team. You will also be responsible for assuming charge duties in the absence of the Assistant Director and providing input to management for budget preparation and capital equipment recommendations. Additionally, you will be expected to perform other related duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as may be required to meet emergencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality assurance, customer focus, infection control, safety, and all policies and procedures within the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/Registration and ARRT required. A minimum of 5 years progressive technical experience required. CPR certification required at time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory experience preferred.
Work Environment:
40 hours/week; Night Shift. Will be required to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
