McHale Landscape Design is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Landscape Designer to join our design team. As an Assistant Landscape Designer, you will play a key role in the design process and implementation of residential projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site analysis, including field measurements, plant identification, and the use of laser levels to record elevations.
- Prepare base maps, designs, as-builts, and construction details, including master plans and perspectives, using CAD-based software.
- Take photographs of sites and create 3-D models and slideshows for sales presentations using Sketch-up, Lumion, and PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with partnered professionals and assist in the permit process.
- Correspond with clients during the design and installation process.
- Coordinate subcontractors and manage subcontractor agreements for assigned projects.
- Participate in design presentations and sales meetings with clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the landscape industry, with residential landscape experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD-based software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
