ROLE OVERVIEW

As a key member of the People and Culture team at Fashion Nova, you will play a critical role in providing expertise in leave and accommodation policies and programs to team members across the organization. This is a full-time, permanent employment opportunity with an on-site schedule.

You will be responsible for managing the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) accommodation process for team members with disabilities, conducting interactive dialogue with team members, managers, business partners, and medical professionals to facilitate accommodations. You will also provide consultative guidance for complex leave and accommodation transactions, ensuring all LOA processes and accommodations adhere to state/federal regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage interactive dialogue process with employees with disabilities to determine appropriate reasonable accommodations.
  • Ensure equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities by implementing and managing reasonable accommodations.
  • Maintain regular contact with managers, treatment providers, and employees regarding progress and status of accommodations.
  • Develop, implement, and conduct interactive dialogue procedures, processes, and best practices.

LEAVE ADMINISTRATION

  • Maintain and improve a leave management process ensuring compliance with labor laws, policy consistency, and transparency.
  • Review and provide expert consultation on complex personal, medical, and statutory leave of absence and reasonable accommodation issues.
  • Advises managers and stakeholders on complex leave cases and process adjustments based on policy changes.

OVERALL

  • Work collaboratively with managers to understand business needs and employment opportunities.
  • Advise clients, People and Culture team members, and stakeholders on updates to leave of absence policies.
  • Identify opportunities for transactional process improvements to enable compliance with policy and streamline LOA and accommodation processes.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Five or more years' experience in leave administration.
  • Expertise in U.S. government and state leave of absence regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders professionally and compassionately.
  • Familiarity with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations and healthcare laws.
