Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our established classical hematology practice in Charlotte, NC. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and is fully supported by a dedicated team of experienced nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff.
We are looking for a candidate with experience or a special interest in non-malignant bleeding disorders, especially venous thromboembolism, sickle cell disease, and uncomplicated anemia. Our hematology program includes Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center Designation. We are a robust, innovative practice that continues to grow and expand patient access to cutting-edge treatments in cellular therapies and clinical trials.
No call required. Experience in classical hematology (non-malignant hematology), bleeding disorders, and/or internal medicine is preferred. Our specialists are committed to working with you and your care team to create a personalized treatment plan that is designed with you in mind. Our expert clinicians provide the latest treatments or management of medical oncology conditions as well as hematologic conditions.

Qualifications
Education:
Master's Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program required.
Experience:
One to three years of experience in Oncology required.
Experience in classical hematology (non-malignant hematology), bleeding disorders, and/or internal medicine preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required. ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) Required.
Additional Skills Required:
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
