Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Clerk to join our team at Alyeska Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing deliveries, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Receive and process deliveries, verifying vendor invoices and ensuring timely payment
- Stock product in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization
- Participate in daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Assist with the filling of hotel vending machines and assume responsibilities of the Hotel Expeditor as needed
- Follow company vehicle policy and report any maintenance issues
- Receive, record, and distribute packages to guests and other departments
- Adhere to all Resort customer service standards
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
- Prior experience in a Storeroom or Warehouse environment and prior Hotel experience preferred
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Purchasing/Inventory system experience desirable
- Ability to read and analyze vendor invoices, inter-departmental requisitions, and email requests
- Ability to write clear and thorough descriptions on manual requisitions
- Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions from managers, associates, and guests
