Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Fiscal Specialist to support the Contract, Grant and Operations Manager with the fiscal components of all programs at the Center for Schools and Communities (CSC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and administrative support for grant writing, staff development, travel, and other operations functions.
  • Work closely with project managers and coordinators to assist with their work on behalf of children and families in Pennsylvania.
  • Collaborate with the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) business office staff on fiscal matters.
  • Support operations, administrative, training, and technical assistance functions.
  • Manage information, provide liaison services, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree with five years' work experience in business and fiscal operations, or a Bachelor's degree in business with two years' experience in business and fiscal operations.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry, email, and file sharing with Google Drive.
  • Proficiency in database software, preferably FileMaker, including experience in data manipulation and report generation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand content of various CSC programs and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks based on project deadlines.
  • Ability to type accurately and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Experience in general office procedures, office equipment, and filing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
