About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Researcher and Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at Houston Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing research activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Conduct research studies to identify best practices in nursing care and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and staff to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze data and metrics to inform quality improvement initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations to advance nursing research and quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree, one of which must be in nursing.
  • Doctoral degree in medical field preferred.
  • Five years clinical nursing experience.
  • RN licensure in Texas or Compact State.
  • Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification within 1 year.
