Job Description

Scrum Master Role Overview

The Scrum Master is a key member of our Information Technology team, responsible for ensuring projects are completed on-time and within budget. This position works closely with key business partners and leadership, vendors, and the balance of the organization to build strong working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope and timeline
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
  • Coach team members in Agile framework
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be the point of contact for external communications
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated self-starting leader with ability to see the vision and drive frequent and continual organizational change and improvement
  • Proven ability to formulate and execute strategic and tactical organizational and operational plans to improve operational performance and support corporate goals
  • Experience with creation of process maps documenting current and future state business practices
  • Proven ability to identify, collect, and analyze operations performance data, market research data, and other related data to improve performance
  • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of delivering quantifiable results to the organization
