Cardiology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Unit at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including those who have undergone minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that take into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in cardiac care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and open communication.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- At least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
