Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Gibson Hotel Management. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeepers to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Assign rooms to housekeepers based on availability and ensure that all rooms are cleaned and inspected to our high standards.
  • Manage the storage area to ensure that all housekeeping supplies are readily available and that the area remains locked and secure.
  • Keep track of checkouts and ensure that all rooms are updated in the computer system.
  • Inspect all clean rooms and update the computer system accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the front desk to ensure that all guests have either checked out of their rooms or paid for another night.
  • Maintain the lost and found file cabinet and report any items found to the log book.
  • Adhere to the Gibson Hotel Management employee handbook, standard code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that all housekeepers have the necessary supplies and equipment to perform their duties.
  • Partner with the maintenance person to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all housekeepers use the time clock accurately and that all hours worked are recorded correctly.
  • Perform regular walk-throughs of the hotel to inspect cleanliness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that there are enough linens for overnight guest needs.
  • Complete performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to housekeepers.
  • Train new housekeepers and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Terminate housekeepers as needed and ensure that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Complete all required training programs and certifications.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role for housekeeping.
  • Guest service experience.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Professional verbal communication.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand up to 100% of shift.
