Senior Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care for our patients. As a senior professional in this field, you will be responsible for performing screenings, assessing patient conditions, and designing personalized therapy and treatment plans to help patients develop the necessary speech skills.
About the RoleThis is a contract role with a duration of 3 months, offering a competitive pay rate of $50.00 per hour. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of patients and make a meaningful impact on their lives.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Create customized treatment and therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
- Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
- Maintain accurate records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
- Report progress and current status to relevant parties.
- A valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with specific age groups or conditions may be preferred.
- A strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.
- Excellent coaching and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, particularly patient and healthcare databases.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
