Job Description

A key member of the IT team, the Technical Infrastructure Specialist will provide top-notch technical support to clients, leveraging a unique blend of technical and interpersonal skills. This role is designed for professionals who can excel in their position through clear communication, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach.

Primary Responsibilities
  • System Installation and Configuration:
  • Assist in installing and configuring operating systems, software, and hardware.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Configure and install computers, printers, and other office equipment.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance:
  • Monitor system performance, proactively troubleshooting issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups.
  • Maintain the reliability and availability of servers, networks, and other infrastructure.
  • User Support:
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Manage help desk tickets, offering solutions and advice on technical matters.
  • Train users on basic system functions and best practices.
  • Documentation:
  • Keep system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps accurately documented.
  • Contribute to IT policy and procedure development.
  • Document and analyze technical issues and user interactions.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with IT and other departments to resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Support IT project planning and implementation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in the field.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a high level of professionalism.
  • At least two years of progressive technical support experience.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and services.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and communication.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, common applications, and network basics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with travel flexibility.
