Job Description

Rochester Collision Center, a leading provider of automotive services, is seeking a skilled Light Maintenance Body Technician. This dynamic role involves inspecting and reconditioning used vehicles to meet or exceed our high standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent multitasking skills, a willingness to learn, and experience in this field.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Conducting thorough exterior walk-around inspections to identify appearance concerns.
  • Compiling estimates of necessary repairs and presenting them to the Used Car Manager for approval.
  • Performing repair and maintenance work to ensure vehicles are reconditioned to the desired level.
  • Maintaining accurate daily work sheets and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.

In addition to these duties, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to perform various tasks such as paint buffing, mixing, and applying touch-up paint, as well as interior seat and carpet repairs, minor body repair, and other related activities.

Key Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to learn new technology and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of quality.
  • A valid state driver's license and insurance through RMC liability insurance.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of approximately $$45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as medical, dental, paid time-off, STD/LTD, 401k, and life insurance.
