Job Overview

Boston MedFlight is seeking an experienced Aeromedical Technician to join our team.

Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities

As an Aeromedical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring program aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and industry best practices. You will coordinate assigned maintenance activities with the Director of Maintenance (DOM) and Director of Aviation Operations as applicable.

  • You will have a thorough knowledge of and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR); Aeronautical Information Manual; Boston Med Flight's (BMF) General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and Manufactures Aircraft/Component Maintenance Manuals as applicable.
  • You will document discrepancies and make repairs per the AMM and or the GOM as applicable.
  • You will perform repairs, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to the assigned aircraft.
  • You will coordinate ordering of parts, supplies, tooling and warranty claim with the Parts / Logistics Coordinator (PLC).
  • You will coordinate aircraft maintenance scheduling with the DOM or designee.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) Certificate
  • A minimum of two (2) years Turbine Helicopter Maintenance experience
  • Experience working on Airbus H145-D3 Fleet

As an Aeromedical Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. You will be exposed to non-conventional motion, noise, vibration, chemicals (jet fumes) and extreme heat or cold.
