Job Title: Tax Manager

Are you a seasoned Tax Manager looking to take your career to the next level? We are a Regional CPA firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Tax Manager.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, tax planning, and research.
  • Coordinate accounting staff and manage tax operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with state, federal, and international tax laws.
  • Develop effective tax strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the company is in compliance.
  • Work closely with auditors and accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to the finance team on tax-related matters.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and implement tax minimization strategies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Handle tax audits and resolve any tax-related issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager role or a related position.
  • Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical business context.
  • Strong experience in managing tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other financial management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
