K2 Integrity is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join their team. This role will be hybrid out of the New York City office, reporting to the Global Controller. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations and account analysis/reconciliations during the month end close.
  • Support the Global Controller with oversight of the accounts payable team, reviewing voucher entry and pay runs for accuracy, and overseeing vendor onboarding.
  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries, maintaining fixed asset and prepaid expense schedules, and calculating monthly depreciation and amortization.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly sales tax returns, excise tax, and commercial rent tax.
  • Responsible for some treasury functions, reviewing daily cash balances.
  • Monthly preparation of reports for foreign accountants to maintain compliance in those countries.
  • Assist with annual financial statement audit.
  • Assist with the preparation of workpapers for outside tax teams.
  • Prepare quarterly unaudited financial statements.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and reports upon request.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, with a minimum GPA of 3.4 in major and overall required.
  • Minimum eight years of accounting experience in a professional services firm.
  • Knowledge of Elite 3E accounting system preferred.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.

Minimum Salary: $120,000 | Maximum Salary: $160,000
