Job Summary

The Medical Imaging Specialist will perform a variety of tasks related to CT scanning, including operating equipment, preparing patients for exams, and analyzing images to identify abnormalities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
  • Analyze images to identify abnormalities and consult with radiologists as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and exam results
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A graduate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Experience in CT scanning or a related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
