Job Summary

The Corporate Annual Giving Development Executive plays a pivotal role in advancing university and athletic priorities through meaningful relationships with key constituents. This position oversees a portfolio of 100-125 prospects, focusing on acquiring athletics annual donors, uncovering leadership gift prospects, and cultivating a culture of philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages a diverse portfolio of donors and prospects, devising innovative strategies for growth and development.
  • Develops and implements successful annual fund plans, setting specific goals and performance metrics.
  • Cultivates and solicits donors and prospects at various giving levels, utilizing a range of engagement and solicitation strategies.
  • Prepares comprehensive gift proposals and agreements.
  • Conducts personal visits with donors and prospective donors, facilitating connections with university stakeholders.
  • Gathers and interprets complex financial data to inform donor prospect profiles.
  • Oversees member benefits, including priority seating communications and membership benefit fulfillment.
  • Creates and executes multichannel communication plans with donors and prospects.
  • Participates in the development and coordination of special events and programs for donors and prospects.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of eight years of directly related full-time experience or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field, accompanied by four years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.
  • Professional experience in Advancement, fundraising, or relevant fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field.
  • Fundraising experience in higher education settings.
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising applications.

Essential Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated expertise in fundraising principles, best practices, trends, and legal constraints within higher education.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn Raiser's Edge and Paciolan.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion in all interactions.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate records, files, and reports.

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
