Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team in an outpatient ortho clinic setting. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering programs of physical therapy treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning in patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individually designed programs to address those needs.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions, to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Supervise physical therapist assistants and supportive personnel to ensure accurate and timely completion of delegated job tasks.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve maximum benefit.
  • Instruct patients and their families on treatment procedures to be continued at home.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
  • A current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients.
