Government Jobs are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join their team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance crew, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of plumbing in City-owned buildings. This role involves routine maintenance and installation of plumbing fixtures and related components.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary range of $39,523.00 - $43,475.00 annually. You will work under general supervision according to set procedures, determining how or when to complete tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all aspects of plumbing in City-owned buildings.
  • Perform routine maintenance and installation of plumbing fixtures and related components.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years of full-time equivalent practical experience in the plumbing trade.
  • Required to obtain Backflow Certification when meeting the requirements of practical experience and vocational training with the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
  • Required to obtain a Virginia Journeyman plumbers license when meeting the requirements.
