Arrow Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Job SummaryThis position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform radiologic examinations and produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiologic examinations using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and position them correctly to ensure optimal image quality.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and follow-up instructions.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must possess:
- A valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography or a related field.
- Current licensure in the state of Iowa (if applicable).
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
The pay package for this role includes:
- A competitive hourly rate, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
