Caregiver Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Attendant to provide continuous observation and monitoring for high-risk patients, ensuring a safe and risk-free environment at our state-of-the-art Parkland Medical Center.

About the Role:

• Maintains direct line of sight with patient at all times, including during transportation, testing, and procedures.
• Accompanies patient and ensures safety during transportation, testing, and procedures.
• Establishes a safe environment by utilizing knowledge of fall prevention protocols, infection control measures, and self-harm prevention techniques.
• Creates clear, accurate documentation on patient status and activity, supporting effective care coordination.
• Assists nursing staff with tasks such as transporting patients, delivering equipment and supplies, and responding to phone inquiries in a timely manner.
• Participates as an active member of the healthcare team, promoting a positive experience for patients, families, and caregivers through exceptional customer service.
