About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Operations and Logistics Specialist to join our team in Boston. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient order fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Order Processing and Verification: Accurately process up to 5,000 customer orders per year, adhering to company guidelines and timelines.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with warehouses, freight partners, and internal supply chain teams to execute outbound shipments on time and in full.
  • Shipment Tracking and Resolution: Verify timely fulfillment, delivery, and invoice creation for all shipments.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain effective communication with Sales teams and customers to resolve issues and challenges.
  • Financial Support: Work with Accounting teams to address finance-related issues, such as order discrepancies, credit holds, pricing, etc.
  • Freight and Warehousing Partnerships: Independently identify and resolve issues with freight and warehousing partners for incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance procedures and policies that add value to the business.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate tracking and tracing of customer data records both on and off ERP systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Experience: Customer Service and/or Outbound Logistics experience in a consumer food or beverage company is a plus.
  • Skillset: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications.

This position will be based in the Boston area, requiring minimal travel (< 5%). The estimated salary for this role is $52,500 - $57,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
