Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Integrated Power Services (IPS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for re-certifying MCC, Switchgear, and E-Houses to customer specifications. Your duties will include changing MCC layouts, painting structures, and following engineering layouts to build MCC, Switchgears, and E-Houses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Re-certify MCC, Switchgear, and E-Houses to customer specifications
  • Change MCC layouts and paint structures
  • Follow engineering layouts to build MCC, Switchgears, and E-Houses
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test and be trained on proper respirator protocol
  • General understanding and firsthand experience with safe work environments
  • Be able to read, interpret, and modify documents
  • Ability to work overtime, including mandatory overtime based on business need
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an excellent driving record
  • Ability to obtain certifications: Pearl Level I and II, Forklift training, TSC Electrical Training Classes, Mine and Safety Administration (MSHA) Training, 10-30 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Card, In-house Training on individual machines in the shop
