About Our FacilityLas Palmas Medical Center is a 300+ bed full-service hospital in El Paso, Texas. We offer a wide range of services, including emergency care, cardiac care, women's services, pediatric care, and NICU, cancer care, and more.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health, and telemedicine services. You will also receive wellbeing support, time away from work programs, savings and retirement resources, education support, and additional benefits for fertility and family building.
Job DescriptionAs a Nurse Resident, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. You will assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. You will also perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, document patient medical records, teach patients and families about their medical conditions, and translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
Required Skills and QualificationsNo previous experience is needed, but you must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Registered Nurse License in the State. Some travel may be required for training.
