Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Care Coordinator to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington.

About the Role:

  • This is a travel nursing position with 13 weeks commitment and up to 36 hours of work per week.
  • The successful candidate will work as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), providing high-quality patient care and supporting the hospital's mission.

About the Unit:

  • The CDU is a 40-bed unit that caters to patients requiring observation and short-term acute care services.
  • The team provides care for patients with various medical conditions, including general medical, post-operative, and gastrointestinal issues.
  • The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night.

Requirements:

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a RN in a similar setting.
  • BCLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory, while NIH certification is preferred.
  • Ability to float between units within your skill set is essential.

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires working 12-hour shifts, primarily at night.
  • You may be required to work every other weekend.
  • Floating between units may involve working different shifts and days off.
