Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Patient Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  2. Evidence-Based Interventions: Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using established best practices.
  3. Cultural Sensitivity: Deliver care that respects and addresses the diverse cultural backgrounds of our patients.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including PCPs, nurses, and CHWs, to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
  • Licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Psychologist.
  • A minimum of 2 years of postgraduate clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multilingual capabilities, preferably in English and Cape Verdean Creole.
Work Environment

This position is based in our busy community health center located in the heart of downtown Brockton. As a condition of employment, you will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and flu, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons.
