Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant to join our team at Good Samaritan Medical Center. As a certified lactation consultant, you will provide expert breastfeeding counseling and care to new mothers and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver individualized care to breastfeeding mothers and their infants
  • Conduct lactation assessments and provide guidance on proper breastfeeding techniques
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and babies
  • Develop and implement lactation education programs for new parents
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
  • Certified by the International Board of Lactation
  • NRP
  • BLS
  • Successful completion of GSMC medication test
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • Successful completion of Basic EKG course within 6 months of employment
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Lactation Consultant

Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
