About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Cummins. This position is based in Columbus, IN, US and requires a strong background in leading teams, managing production units, and improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily activities of a production unit or teams.
  • Manage team members, housekeeping, and meet production targets.
  • Work cross functionally to improve safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Serve as group lead on projects and work assignments.

  • Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis - Examines HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence-based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting, and avoiding repeated incidents.
  • Drives results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
  • Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting, and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
  • Manages conflict - Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.

Compensation and Benefits: The base salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
