Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Graduate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Coordinator at DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. This role will involve coordinating patient care activities, including patient/family education, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating patient care activities, including patient/family education, under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Collaborating with physicians, care management specialists, and other healthcare providers to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Providing direct patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress
  • Documenting and communicating patient responses to care and treatment, monitoring laboratory values, and participating in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • Temporary authorization to practice as a graduate nurse under the direct supervision of a registered nurse
  • Licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Michigan within 90 days of hire
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
