Job Description

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist with NovaCare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics. You will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and directing treatment for patients with medically necessary physical therapy needs. Your expertise will be valued as you work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans
2. Treat patients using a variety of techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, exercise, and education
3. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
5. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as corporate and clinical services requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a graduate degree from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy. A valid state physical therapy license or registration is also required. Additionally, you must have Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
