Adjunct Instructor

We are seeking highly qualified individuals to join our team as Adjunct Instructors in various subject areas. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach courses and contribute to the academic success of our students.

This is a part-time, temporary position with the State of South Carolina. You will be responsible for teaching classes, developing course materials, and assessing student performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and experience in instructional design.

• Teach courses in various subject areas, including Barbering, Business Administration, Computer Technology, Cosmetology, Cybersecurity, Human Services, and Criminal Justice
• Develop and maintain current course syllabi and lesson plans
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Supervise students and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Prepare and administer exams, and maintain accurate grade books and attendance records

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A master's degree or higher in a relevant field
• Experience in instructional design and delivery
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. As a state employee, you will also be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off.
