Job DescriptionThe Senior Counsel, Gene Reading, will provide expert legal counsel to our business unit focused on next-generation sequencing (NGS), polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and related technologies. This role is crucial for navigating complex legal landscapes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing comprehensive legal advice and support, negotiating and drafting complex agreements, and ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.
Essential Requirements- Maintain a solid understanding of IDTs products, business goals, and challenges to provide effective legal support
- Negotiate, draft, review, and finalize complex agreements related to NGS, PCR, and related technologies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA, EMA, and other global regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with the IP team to protect the companys intellectual property assets
The estimated salary for this role is $170,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees.
