About the Job


We are seeking a skilled Master Technician to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.



Job Summary

The Master Technician will be responsible for examining customer vehicles, identifying necessary repairs and maintenance, and estimating costs. You will also perform repairs and maintenance, document services, and follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines.



Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of customer vehicles, identify necessary repairs and maintenance, and estimate costs.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Accurately document services performed, including repairs, maintenance, and estimates.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.


Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Master Technician is required. Experience with new and used vehicle repair and maintenance is essential.


Certifications: A valid driver's license and ASE Master certification are required. Manufacturer-specific certifications, such as Chevrolet, are preferred.


Skills: Excellent mechanical skills, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities are required. Strong communication and customer service skills are also essential.



Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.



Location and Work Environment

This position is located at our dealership in Tallahassee, Florida. You will work in a fast-paced service environment, interacting with customers, service advisors, and other team members. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.
