Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join our team at Link Network in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's tax function, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations, and optimizing tax strategies.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires an individual with a strong understanding of taxation, strategic tax planning, and the ability to oversee tax filings, audits, and compliance at both the federal and state levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Compliance and Planning: Lead the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for clients, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Industry Regulations: Oversee tax compliance related to industry regulations, staying informed on changes and assessing their impact on the business.
  • Tax Guidance: Provide tax guidance for business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and risk management strategies for clients.
  • Tax Audits: Manage and coordinate tax audits, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Work closely with internal financial teams to ensure proper financial reporting and tax-related entries.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management.
  • Experience working for a public accounting firm.
  • Proficiency with software related to tax and accounting.
  • Strong experience in federal, state, and local tax compliance and reporting.
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tax situations and audits.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
