Lead Childcare Educator

The Growing Years is seeking a highly qualified Lead Childcare Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, establishing positive relationships with families, and maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our curriculum guides and meet the needs of our children.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, responding to their emotional needs and providing quality care for their children.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each child, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences and maintain child assessments and portfolios.
- Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and ability to pass all background checks.
- Completion of 6 credits worth of early childhood education courses.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent.
- Previous childcare experience preferred.
