Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from late childhood through late adolescence.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people struggling with mental health challenges. As a Mental Health Tech, you will work under the direction of the Direct Care Supervisor and be responsible for ensuring the safety of residents while providing encouragement and guidance to help them comply with programming.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and supervision to patients in a secure and supportive environment
  • Assist patients with daily living activities and participate in group therapy sessions
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient behavior or condition to the Direct Care Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred
  • Two years of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness
  • Valid Indiana driver's license required
  • CPR and First Aid certification and successful completion of HWC within days of employment
