Nurse Coordinator Role in Apollo Beach, FL

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN FSED to join our team at South Shore Hospital in Apollo Beach, FL. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit during your designated shift.
About the RoleThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures that patients receive exceptional care and service while maintaining a commitment to the organization's vision and mission. In collaboration with other management team members, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care according to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire or transfer.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.
