Position Overview

The Clinical Nutrition Specialist is responsible for evaluating patients' dietary needs and nutritional health. This role involves creating and executing tailored nutrition care plans while monitoring patient progress and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' nutritional status.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nursing staff, and pharmacy, to provide effective medical nutrition therapy.
  • Work alongside management to ensure the availability of nutritionally balanced menus and food services for both patients and visitors.
  • Deliver educational programs and counseling services to the community on various topics, such as dietary modifications, weight management, and eating disorders.
Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Minimum Work Experience: Previous experience in a dietitian role is preferred.

Required Skills: Strong critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to operate independently in a high-pressure environment.

Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.

Required Licenses: Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is necessary.
