Noland Health Services seeks a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a PRN (as needed) member. This role offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to work on various shifts to support the needs of our residents.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated CNA to provide exceptional care to our residents in a dynamic environment. As a CNA-PRN, you will be responsible for delivering routine daily nursing care and services, ensuring each resident receives personalized attention and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, eating, grooming, toileting, and vital sign checks.
  • Document medication administration and ensure accurate recording of vital signs.
  • Assist with preparing residents for medical testing, activities programs, and visitation, promoting a comfortable and engaging experience.
  • Maintain residents' living areas clean, neat, and tidy, adhering to facility standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting newly admitted residents and escorting them to their rooms.
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the charge nurse promptly, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Transport residents safely and efficiently to appointments, activities, and social programs, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Requirements:

  • Highest level of high school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred or must obtain within 4 months of hire.
  • Previous CNA experience is beneficial, but not necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move consistently throughout the workday.
  • Capacity to reach, bend, and/or stoop intermittently.
  • Excellent vision and hearing, or use of prosthetics enabling these senses to function adequately.
  • Capability to push, pull, or move a minimum of 100 pounds using proper body mechanics and assistance.
  • Able to walk/stand 75% of the day.
  • Demonstrate mental and emotional stability to cope with the demands of the position.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary range of $35,000-$45,000 per year, based on experience.
  • Competitive compensation package.
