Lead Traffic Planner Role

This Direct Hire role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to lead traffic engineering projects and mentor project staff in South Portland, Maine.
Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in Traffic or Transportation Engineering, with 6+ years of experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) License. They should also be proficient in software such as Synchro/SimTraffic and MicroStation/AutoCAD, with VISSIM experience being a plus.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of traffic studies and permitting, assisting with proposal efforts, and maintaining relationships with clients and agencies.
You will also prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction drawings, as well as analyze traffic data using industry standard guidelines.
