We are seeking a highly motivated Cleanliness Specialist to join our team at Excela Health. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our healthcare environment.

**Job Summary:**

  • Clean patient rooms, public areas, and ancillary areas to maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
  • Collect regulated and non-regulated waste, soiled linens, and materials, and place them in designated locations according to regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist with daily cleaning requests from customers within departmental duties.
  • Maintain equipment and materials, and ensure they are in good working condition.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Clean and service assigned hospital areas/facilities.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Collect and transport waste, soiled linens, and materials to designated locations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and push/pull heavy objects as needed.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

**Benefits:**

  • A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

**Working Conditions:**

  • This is a full-time position, working 8-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends.
