Job Summary

This part-time position involves performing specialized cleaning duties with the intent of disinfecting ambulatory healthcare facilities, including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges to ensure a hygienic atmosphere.
  • Clean reception glass and entrance windows to provide an excellent first impression.
  • Maintain floors by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, as well as performing carpet spot cleaning and upholstery spot cleaning.
  • Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste while performing routine cleaning on containers.
  • Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other essential items to maintain a well-stocked environment.
  • Ensure equipment, tools, and storage areas are in clean and orderly operating condition.
  • Work with alarm systems to arm and disarm for added security.
