Estimator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Denver. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating project estimates and bids, including reviewing project plans and specifications. You will also utilize estimating software to calculate costs and prepare detailed estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and coordinating project estimates and bids
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications
  • Utilizing estimating software to calculate costs and prepare detailed estimates
  • Evaluating and analyzing subcontractor bids for completeness and accuracy
  • Managing the bid process from receiving initial project documents to final bid submission
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and proposing budget-friendly solutions
  • Maintaining knowledge of current industry trends and local construction costs

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of estimating experience in construction general contracting
  • Proven experience in multifamily projects is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
