Inpatient Child Adolescent Psychiatrist Position

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Child Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at North Star Behavioral Health, a leading provider of behavioral health services in Alaska.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and discharges for patients in an acute inpatient setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and assessments for assigned patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in daily care activities, such as patient rounds and team meetings
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a medical degree and board certification in psychiatry. Experience working in an acute inpatient setting is highly desirable, as is familiarity with electronic medical records systems.

In addition to a competitive salary range of $330,000-$350,000, determined by experience level, qualifications, and job fit, we offer a range of benefits, including:
