Job Summary

Emory University is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Manager to join our team at the Winship Cancer Institute. As a key member of our clinical research team, you will be responsible for directing and managing large and complex clinical research groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess team performance, manage staff workload, and ensure compliance amongst staff.
  • Supervise staff, including performance management and development, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Work with clinical research leadership to ensure alignment between team needs and department infrastructure.
  • Provide oversight of the clinical research portfolio, including reviewing potential research opportunities and assisting in the selection process.
  • Support the protocol feasibility review process and track team metrics, including trial accruals and budget activity.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP and institutional regulations for all study protocols.
  • Perform quality oversight and ensure timeliness and accuracy of clinical research information and data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, health-related, or business administration program required.
  • Seven years of clinical research experience, with at least four years of Clinical Research Coordinator or Clinical Research Nursing experience.
  • ACRP/SoCRA certification required within one year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree and experience leading or managing teams.
