Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer will lead the development and implementation of engineering strategies to drive plant performance and efficiency. This role will oversee the design, development, and manufacturing of precision parts, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and change orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical direction in the design, development, test, and manufacturing of precision parts.
- Forecast resource requirements and allocate resources according to priorities and availability.
- Monitor and control manufacturing operations, recommending improvements in CNC programming, methods, processes, and materials.
- Estimate and analyze critical issues and resource requirements for tool development projects.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of programming processes to achieve goals and maintain standards and best practices.
- Analyze methods and manufacturing process problems to determine root cause and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the QA department to establish and administer test and inspection programs and procedures.
- Establish and maintain safety operations by adhering to procedures and policies.
- Operational excellence experience.
- Engineering experience, preferably in aerospace.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality controls, and costs.
- Understanding of techniques for effective control of delivered quality, cost, and schedule in the processing of aerospace products.
- Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning and forecasting.
- Thorough knowledge of lean manufacturing work area practices.
- Motivate, develop, and direct people as they work.
- Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate results and needs across all levels.
- Able to establish and communicate clear priorities and influence others to support and act on those priorities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Equivalent experience considered. 5+ years related operational experience.
