Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to individuals of all ages in the Crest Hill, IL area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse patient population and will be committed to helping clients achieve their communication goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to diagnose communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs, setting measurable goals and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, utilizing a variety of techniques and materials to address communication challenges and improve functional outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, therapy sessions, and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Educate and involve families and caregivers in the therapy process, providing guidance and strategies to support clients' communication development at home.
  • Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical, school, or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and proficiency in using therapy tools and technology.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
