The Role of Guest Services Manager

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our guests have a seamless and memorable experience at our hotel. As Guest Services Manager, you will be responsible for directing and controlling the activities of the Bell Staff and Driveway Staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview and select job applicants for Valet Parking and schedule them to provide maximum guest service within budgeted guidelines.
  • Complete all payroll records on a timely basis.
  • Train and supervise staff in the performance of their duties, conduct performance evaluations, and discipline as needed.
  • Ensure a high level of personalized, friendly, and courteous service to guests, handle vehicles and keys with caution, and secure them properly.
  • Accurately collect and post parking charges, institute controls to maximize revenue and profits.
  • Coordinate the use of other garages for guests and patrons as necessary, ensure proper reconciliation of charges.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments, particularly sales and catering, in coordinating special guest or group needs relating to parking services.
  • Ensure all valet parking staff are familiar with hotel facilities, hours of operation, city geography, points of interest, and respond professionally to guest complaints or problems relating to parking.
  • Act as a liaison between the house car and its needs to operate efficiently.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Three to five years of previous Rooms Division Management experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • A valid work authorization for the United States.
