About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Childrens Hospital of Richmond at VCU. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and CT scans
  • Ensure all necessary safety protocols are followed when working with radiation equipment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and imaging results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • BLS and ARRT certification required
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
